Intriguing and wholesome, we enjoy this unpasturised Red Leicester for its clean and well balanced taste and moist but firm texture. Red Leicester gains its orange hue from annatto, the pulp that surrounds the seeds from the Achiote tree found in South America. Annatto provides a natural colouring but is also believed by some to lend a subtle extra flavour to the cheese
